ARGUMENT
We understood that an argument is a set of reasons given in support of an opinion. An argument may as well be positive or negative i.e. it backs up both negative and positive sides of an event. The structure of an argument includes supporting and opposing statement.
For any argument to be considered, two parts have to be considered.
1. Reason
2. Conclusion
What is reason? Reason is a cause or an explanation for something that has happened or that has to be done. While conclusion is something that you decide when you have the situation i.e. what we justify using reason. E.g.
- Since I earn no money, I cannot pay alms.
- Ibrahim is sick, he cannot fast during the month of Ramadan.
Structure of an argument
Claim, Reason, Conclusion, in other word, in the study of logic it is called premises and conclusion e.g.
The Arabic institute of Nigeria is located in Ibadan

Therefore, it is not an Ilorin institute.
The student of Insight Mission World are in Malaysia.
