NUZULUL QUR’AN
It simply means the descent of the glorious Quran revealed to the Prophet (S.A.W) and was divided into two forms, the first revelation was descended to baytul ‘Izah at once while the second form was taken from baytul ‘Izah by angel Jubril in piece meal to the prophet (S.A.W) in a gradual manner.
STAGES OF DESCENCY
1. Ist descent stage: The prove of this is stated in Qur’an [Nay! This is a Glorious Qur'an, (Inscribed) in Al-Lauh Al-Mahfûz (The Preserved Tablet)! (Al-Burooj, 21-22)
2. 2nd descent stage: This is the gradual revelation of the Qur’an, the prove of this is stated in [Al-Furqan, 25:32] “And those who disbelieve say: "Why is not the Qur'an revealed to him all at once?" Thus (it is sent down in parts), that We may strengthen your heart thereby. And We have revealed it to you gradually, in stages. (It was revealed to the Prophet SAW in 23 years.).

ASBAAB AN-NUZUL
