    An Introduction to The Hadith.
    Ethymologically, the word Hadith is a noun derived from 'Hadatha' meaning 'to utter'. Literally it means an utterance. Technically its simply defined as the sayings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w), his deeds and his silence approvals to other actions done in his presence.
    Regarding this, people tend to misuse Sunnah and Hadith in different forms. Whereas Sunnah encompasses Hadith. Meaning, Sunnah is the total way of life and practice of our beloved Prophet (s.a.w). Hadith is hereby declared as a branch of Sunnah.
    Regarding the Stature of Sunnah in Islam, its collectively accepted by the Islamic Scholars as the Second source of Sharia when Qur'an is the fundamental Code of conduct.
    However, its also regarded as the encyclopedia which Islam lay on due to the fact that Islam can never be well practiced without the Sunnah. Though some Sects in Islam claim to do away with the Sunnah of our excellent Prophet (s.a.w). Anti-Sunnah sects fight against the Bed-rock of Islam. Yet they claim to be Muslims. The likes of the Kharajites, Quraaniyyah and many more, are Anti-Sunnah sects.
    Alas! Allah who owns the World and gave us The Qur'an as a Manuscript and Hadith as an Encyclopedia, said in His Glorious Book;
    "O you who believe! Obey Allah and Obey The Messenger ..." {Q4;59}. So what do they have to say on this and other Verses of such.
    Conclusively, all sayings, deeds, and silence approvals of our Blessed Prophet after being confirmed an Authentic should hereby be accepted and emulated to our capability. Untainted Peace be on the Noblest of Mankind.
