NUZULIL QURAN
nuzulil quran means the decsent of the glorious quran . It originates from the word nazala which decsend and nuzul means descent .
ITS REVELATION
the holy quran was revealed in two ways which are ; revelation at once and gradual revelation .
To explain the first type , it was revealed in (qur44:3) " verily , we have descended it in the night of the majesty." and also in (qur25:32)
and to also explain the second type which is gradual revelation , in quran17 vs 106 " and we have seperated the quran that u might recite it to the people over prolonged time and we have sent it down progressively . " this above aayah show the reason God revealed the quran gradually
ITS JUSTIFICAION AND WISDOM BEHIND GRADUAL REVELATION
There are many reasons for that and i would just highlight among them ; to steadify the prophet's earth , to be gentle with the prophet , gradation in legislation , facilitating the preservation of the holy quran , dealing with problems as they arose .
ASBAABUN-NUZUL
This means reference to an incident in accordance with revelation of the quran .
The importance of asababun-nuzul are as follows ; to understand the prudence behind the various commandments , knowing the backround of a particular revelation, to clear any ambiguity pertaining to an aayah of the quran
