IJAZUL QURAN (MIRACLES OF THE HOLY QUR'AN)
The composition of the Quran has certain features which make it unique and unmatchable by humans. This inimitability is called I’jaz al-Quran, the MIRACULOUS NATURED OF THE QURAN. The Quran with its literary inimitability is the entire move astonishing because Muhammad himself was Ummiy (unlettered) when the Quran was revealed to him. The miraculous nature of the Quran leaves its opponents powerless or incapable of meeting the challenges which the revelation poses to them. The Quran contains challenges defying people to imitate it if they do not believe that it is from God.AL-Qurtubi in his commentary on the Quran has indicated ten aspects of the I’jaz al-Quran they are:
Its language excels all other Arabic languages.
Its style excels all other Arabic styles.
Its comprehensiveness cannot be matched,
Its legislation cannot be surpassed.
Its narrations about the known can only result from revelation.
Its lack of contradiction with the sound natural sciences.
Its fulfilment of all that it promise both good tidings and threat
The knowledge it comprises both legal and concerning the creation
Its fulfilment of human needs.
Its effects on the hearts of men.
THE GREAT CHALLENGES TO ALL NON-BELIEVERS TO PRODUCE SUCH.
The Quran has by virtue of its claim of divine origin, challenged mankind to produce, even unsteady, just a few canes comparable to those in the Quran. These challenges have remained unanswered to this day Allah says: or do they say: he “MUHAMMAD” has forgotten it? Nay: they believe not. Let them then produce a recital like unto it if they are truthful.Q52 vs. 33-34 also in Quran 10 vs 38 Allah says: or do they say: He Muhammad has forged it? Say: bring then a chapter like unto it and call upon whomsoever you can, besides Allah if you are truthful. Allah says in Quran 2 vs 23.And if you are in doubt concerning that which we have sent down to our slave “Muhammad” then produce a surah of the like thereof and call your witnesses besides Allah if you are truthful. This challenge posed by the Quran has never been met, precisely because of the reason the Quran itself gives: that it cannot be done. The Quran declares that no one could possibly bring such a book: if the whole of mankind and jinn were together to produce the like, of this Quran they would not be able to produce the like thereof, even if they backed up each other Quran 17 vs 88.Ever since the Quran was revelation, Fifteen centuries ago, no one has been able to produce a single chapter like the chapters of the Quran in their beauty, eloquence, splendour, wise legislation, true information, true prophecy and other perfect attributes. Even the smallest chapter in the Quran “chapter 108” is only ten words, yet no one has ever been able to meet this challenge, then or today.
THE SCIENTIFIC MIRACLES IN THE HOLY QURAN
The Quran on human embryonic development in the holy Quran, Allah speaks about the stages of man embryonic development “we created man from an extract of clay, then we made him as a drop in a [lace of settlement, firmly fixed. Then we made the drop into an alaqah(leech, suspended thing and blood clot), then we made alaqah into a mudghah (chewed substance)Quran 23 vs 12-14.
The Quran on mountains: this is how the Quran has described mountains. Allah says we not made the earth as a bed and the mountain as pegs Q 78 vs 6-7.also in Quran 16 vs 15 Allah says and he has set firm mountains in the earth so that it would not shake with you.
The Quran on the origin of the universe. Allah says: then he turned to the heaven when it was smoke….. Q41 vs 511.
“Have not those who disbelieved known that the heavens and earth were one connected entity, then we separated them” Q21vs30.
SCIENTISTS’ COMMENTS ON THE ABOVE SCIENTIFIC MIRACLES IN THE HOLY QUR’AN.

Dr T.V.N Persaud, a Professor of Anatomy, Professor of Paediatric Child Health, and Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. He said that “the way the Qur’an was explained to me is that Muhammad was a very ordinary man. He could not read, didn’t know how to write. In fact, he was illiterate and we are talking about twelve years ago. You have someone illiterate making profound pronoun cements and statements that are amazingly accurate about scientific nature. And in personally can’t see how this could be a mere chance. I have no difficulty in my mind that this is a divine inspiration or revelation which led him to these statements.
2. Dr Gerald C. Georinger is Director and Associate Professor of Medical Embrayology at the department of cell biology, school of medicine, Georgetown University, Washington D.C, U.S.A. he said “In a relatively few aayah (Quranic Verse) contained a rather comprehensive description of human development, such as classification, terminology, and description, existed previously. Inmost, if not all, instances this description antecedents by many centuries the recording of the various stages of human embrayonic and fatal development recorded in the traditional scientific literature”.
In conclusion, the Holy Qur’an is the only miracle that ever exists on earth and there is no other book that could be as miraculous as it is.
