SUBMISSION
Linguistically, “Submission” itself comes from the arabic term ‘aslama, which means “to surrender, resign oneself”. In Islam, the fundamental duty of each Muslim is to submit to Allah and whatever Allah want from them. This refers to the sense of submission “istislaam” where Allah says in the Holy Qur'an, Surat-un-Nisaa vs 125, that "who can be better in religion than who submits his face to God". It is thus clear that the concept of submission to the will, desires and commandment of God is inextricably linked to Islam as a religion. It is an inherent part of the name of the religion, of the religion followers and of the basic of Islam.
Submission specifically refers to willingness and desires, to worship almighty Allah with high level of devotion and consciousness to the service of Allah alone as approved by Him. This submission is common to all religion but not all religion can be traced to us regard this submission, but Islam is the only religion that really convey the word submission. As the Arabic word Islam is related to the word “salaam” which means “peace”. The Arabic word Islam is thus also closely related to the Arabic word for peace, salaam. Muslims believe that true peace can only be achieved through obedience to the will of Allah. With this, we hereby conclude that Islam is Peace!!!
