Islamic Civilization;
Civilization was derived from a Latin word 'civilis' which equally means CIVIL. Arabically, the most fitting terminology is "al-hadaarah". With this we can conclusively define Civilization as a refinement of thought, manner and taste for the purpose of human existence.
Collectively, you would agree with me that Man can never survive without three major factors namely;
*Feeding,
*Clothing and
*Shelter
The quest to achieve this brings about a rigorous thinking, which leads to Early Age Civilization through Primitive Inventions.
Moreover, Civilization can also be viewed from three different perspectives;
Firstly in an elegant manner, it is regarded according to the Greeks as a Set-apart from being Barbarian, where a barbarian is he who is unable to philosophize.
Secondly in a New Age term, its used as a distinction from being Primitive.
Lastly to be less strict and exact, it could also mean the culture of a well organized society.
Alas! In a Western way of defining Civilization, it means the aggregated advancement achieved by Man from varieties of action in line with the divine perfection resulting to the best of all advancement.
Also, it can be referred to as a perfect way to refine human thought manner and taste.
However, the advancement earlier stated can be measured in different ways at which it progresses such as in;
# Agriculture,
# Trade,
# Political Structure,
# Educational System,
# Sciences, e.t.c
Considerable elements of Civilization includes,'
Cities,
Law Codes,
Record Keeping,
Religious Specialization,
Social Classes and
Complex technology.
In conclusion, Civilization started as far back as Human existence and would last as existence lasts.
